Fayyaz & Amanda Masih
Planting in: Pakistan / East Asia
Pastor Fayyaz Masih is a third-generation pastor from Lahore, Pakistan, who is passionate about mobilizing leaders, prayer, and winning souls. His passion is to reach the hurting and dying with the message and power of the Gospel. Pastor Fayyaz came from a Christian background, but church was only a traditional obligation until one service in 2002 when he gave his heart to Jesus. Shortly afterwards he felt a burden for lost souls and began studying theology in Pakistan to become a pastor.
In 2004, Pastor Fayyaz founded Full Harvest Ministries in Pakistan. Mobilizing prayer, fasting, and sending the gospel message of Jesus Christ into a dying world was his primary focus. Compelled by compassion for the lost, Pastor Fayyaz and his family moved to a new area of the city to start a 24/7 prayer center in 2009. He witnessed first-hand the fruit of prayer evangelism and experienced the Holy Spirit moving powerfully in the lives of people. Many were set free from demons, healed of diseases, cured of addictions and other bondages when receiving prayer in the name of Jesus. From these new believers, their first church was born.
Fayyaz fondly remembers first watching Pastor Rod Parsley preach one night on TBN at his grandmother’s home in Pakistan. Fayyaz was deeply touched and encouraged as Pastor Rod wept during the Gospel message. His teaching made a tremendous impact on this young pastor.
Pastor Fayyaz trained and empowered others to lead in his absence before leaving Pakistan for America to marry his sweetheart, Amanda. She has ministered in five nations, twice in Pakistan, and has served the past six years with a major Christian evangelical organization. She has witnessed the power of the Gospel at work in the third world. In the darkest of places, the light of God shines the brightest!
It was during this season of transition to America and marriage that Fayyaz began asking the Lord about his future. In 2015, Fayyaz began studying Pastoral Leadership at Valor Christian College. He recently celebrated his graduation with honors as Valor’s 2017 Valedictorian!
Together, Pastors Fayyaz and Amanda have continued to mentor, equip and empower Christian leaders in Pakistan. Full Harvest Ministries is still thriving today and has expanded to include a network of 10 churches. They have a heart - and much opportunity - to plant more churches in East Asia. As Jesus said in Luke 10:2, the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Will you help send these experienced laborers into the harvest and partner with the work God is doing in East Asia?
