David & Catharine Danks
Planting in: Richmond, VA
Dave and Catharine Danks have ministry to “the least of these” in their DNA.
They met at a homeless youth outreach in Minneapolis, MN. Their first dates were shared with poverty stricken folks at the local community meal. Their passion is seeing the broken, left out, and overlooked find hope and peace in Christ.
They have been married for 5 years and have a beautiful 5-year-old daughter named Lily. The Danks truly feel called to reach the lost and neglected.
They seek to be a church that exists on the fringes and in the margins, acting as gatekeepers into the Kingdom for the ones who are far from God in the Jackson Ward neighborhood of Richmond, VA.
They will also be launching Hope Homes for youth who age out of the foster care system to help stop the homelessness, incarceration, and drug abuse that plague foster youth when they turn 18 and have no place to call home.
